Christmas Break

I returned last week from two amazing weeks at home for Christmas break, and it was just what I needed. I’m grateful that I was able to have that much time off of work to go home and spend quality time with my family and friends. The time flies by all too quickly, but believe me, I was able to savor every moment of those two weeks and soak it all up. I love visiting North Carolina, and it gets harder and harder to leave every time!

Here are some snippets of the weeks I spent at home… it was filled with endless Christmas goodness, special times with friends and family, plenty of time for myself, lots of shopping, working on special projects, eating way too much (especially homemade chex mix), taking many glorious bubble baths, and lots of sleeping in!

All I really wanted for Christmas… time with these four. I have the best family imaginable!

My sister’s also the best ever – really. The best!

I have so many fabulous friends in Charlotte, and I’m so thankful for time with them (many not pictured!)
